In order to interact with your Salesforce account, you will first be required to authenticate your connection to ReplyBuy Messenger. This can easily be done through the “CRM Integrations” page, which is accessible from your Settings tab.
Once you are on the CRM Integrations page, you can click on the “Activate” button on the Salesforce card. Clicking this button will redirect to you the Salesforce login page, where you will supply your valid credentials. If you already logged in to your Salesforce account on a different tab, you may not be required to login again.
Now that you have successfully authenticated your Salesforce account, you can use ReplyBuy Messenger to Log Calls, Add Opportunities, Add Notes, and Add Tasks to your Salesforce contacts. Provided below is a visual walkthrough of what these different features look like in Messenger, as well as the resulting entities created in Salesforce.
Messenger Admins now have the ability to import contacts (including basic contact info and supplied custom attributes) from their integrated CRM. There is a brief setup step where you can supply the attributes you would like included in your returned data, as well as provide attributes and values to filter/segment your import into specific groups. Click on the “Import Contacts” button and you will be presented with the Contact Import Configuration Wizard.
By enabling Conversation Logging for Microsoft Dynamics, conversation messages (both incoming and outgoing) will be logged automatically to the CRM contact history and CRM timeline.
